Every year I make New Year’s resolutions, but to be completely honest, I am the worst at keeping them. I feel like I should make a resolution to keep my New Year’s resolutions.
Get healthy – Eat better, do more yoga
This was also my goal last year and it totally fell through. I wanted to eat fewer potato chips and do yoga every day. I did manage to hit up a waterfront yoga studio in California a few times but not nearly enough. I’m starting out 2018 with a yoga membership and a new mat so we have to start off on the right foot!
Be more mindful
This will go hand in hand with doing more yoga. I want to aim to be more present in my daily life and spend even less time on my phone and computer (unless doing work). I am pretty good at this but I am to get even better.
Grow my blog and social media presence
The growth that Allie and I have experienced on social media in the last year has been absolutely insane. We never expected to grow such a little following and meet so many amazing humans. I hope we can keep this up for the new year! Plus I started this little blog mid-2017 and we still have so much room for growth! I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings our way.
See more of the world
If I want to meet my goal of 30 countries by 30 I have some major work to do. We have no trips planned yet for 2018, but this will change I am sure. Any travel recommendations for us?
Make new friends
Once we finished University most of my friends left Halifax to return to their roots in Ontario. This makes my heart hurt, but I know that I have to plan a trip to the big cities of Canada soon to see everyone! Allie and I have some amazing friends here in Halifax but there is always room for more in our sweet little circle of comrades
