How to make a vision board

Dream, Believe, Do, Repeat

A vision board is a daily reminder of your dreams and goals. The concept is simple: think of how much you want something, focus on it, and make it happen.

Do they work? I like to think so! Even if you don’t understand or know about the law of attraction, just by thinking about your goals it makes you more likely to reach them. Creating a vision board makes you think about what you want from your life and looking at your vision board reawakens those desires.

A bulletin board (or bristol board)

Step 1:

Set the mood. You should create your board in a space that inspires you! Put on your favourite music and get cozy. Maybe light your favourite candle or turn on an essential oil diffuser. Do whatever it takes to get your creative juices flowing.

Step 2:

Think about what inspires you! What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in a year? What do you want to do before you die? What are your career goals? Where do you want to travel? Who do you want to meet? The answers to these questions (and anything else your heart desires) can all be put on your board! Make a list of your answers and anything else you want to include in your board

Step 3:

Gather your arsenal. Find quotes, words, and pictures to visualize your goals. This is the hardest part for me! I feel that everything I put on my board must be special to me, but remember, if you can’t find what you are looking for in a magazine, you can always take to the internet! Trust me, the internet, a printer, and some ink are your friends in this situation. Remember to fill your board with things you want to look it!

Step 4:

Put it on the board. I love the look of pins on a cork board but you can really use anything your heart desires. This is also the time you can add your personal flair to your board

Step 5:

Put your finished creation somewhere you will see it every day and appreciate the beauty of it all!
